With this HDMI Type A to VGA Converter, you can plug your HDMI devices such as cameras, media players, laptops, computers, and game systems into legacy displays and projectors that rely on VGA connectors. The connector features a male HDMI type A connector on one end, a standard female VGA display connector on the other end, and a 3.5mm analog audio output jack to extract audio from the HDMI signal.
This converter is HDCP 1.3 and 1.4 compliant, it accepts 8-, 10-, and 12-bit deep color, and supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz. The converter connects to your display's VGA cable and features a 4" long cable that extends to the display's HDMI port, so you don't need a separate HDMI cable. Power is provided by the HDMI source, so no additional power supply is needed.
