Three Ways to Play

When you're at home, use Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) to connect to audio through your home network. Play the Sonos Play in any room or group it with your other Sonos speakers to expand your home audio system. With an optional AUX cable and Sonos Line-In Adapter, you can even connect a turntable or other wired component. On the go, use Bluetooth to pair a device for streaming. Whether home or away, group the Play to two or more other Sonos speakers for even bigger sound.

Automatic Trueplay

No matter where you are, Sonos' Trueplay technology tunes the music to your area's specific acoustics. No phones required, the Sonos Play uses a built-in far-field microphone array with beamforming and multi-channel echo cancellation. Please note that automatic functionality requires the Sonos app and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Voice, App, or Touch

Controlling the Sonos Play is as easy as using your voice. When speaking commands, the same far-field microphone array used for Trueplay can easily pick up what you say from across the room. You also have the option of using the Sonos mobile app or the physical touch controls on the speaker.

All-Day Power

Provide music to your hangout or party all day long with up to 24 hours of battery life. With this much power, you can use the Sonos Play's USB-C port to make it act like a power bank, charging your essential mobile devices. When it's time to recharge, simply place the Sonos Play onto the included wireless charging base. Another power feature is the swappable battery. When it's time to get a new one, you can keep the speaker and just get a new battery.
